Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, Sacred Hindu Temple located on the bank of Bagmati River 5km northeast of Kathmandu valley. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of the Hindu faith. This temple complex is on the UNESCO world heritage sites list since 1979. One of the oldest Hindu temples in Kathmandu. The area of Pashupatinath encompasses 264 hectares of land including 518 temples and monuments.
Boudhanath Stupa is located about 11km (6.8mi) from the center and northeastern outskirt of Kathmandu valley. The stupas' massive mandala makes it one of the largest in the world. Boudhanath Stupa was listed in a UNESCO world heritage site in 1979. This stupa was badly damaged on 25 April 2015 but at the present, it is raised again and looks wonderful for sightseeing.
Swayambhunath( Monkey Temple):
Swayambhunath Temple is commonly known as Monkey Temple. It is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu valley: west of Kathmandu city. IT is probably the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites. The site has two access points a long stairway with 365 steps, leading directly to the main platform of the temple, which is from the top of the hill to the east, and a road around the hill from the south leading to the southwest entrance.
Patan Durbar Square:
Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu valley, This is also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The Durbar Square is a marvel of Newa architecture. The Square floor is tiled with red bricks. There are many temples and idols in the area. The Square was heavily damaged on 25 April 2015 Baisakh 12 by a major earthquake. At the present is all set to be beautiful sightseeing in the Lalitpur district of Nepal.
10: Am Pick up from the Hotel and drop at the Pashupatinath temple and start our sightseeing tour including all the places mentioned above around 5:00 pm drops you to the hotel.
It was a really nice day, which Rankesh organised very well. The driver picked us up on time and was very kind.He took us to all the beautiful sites in Kathmandu. Buddhist and Hinduist places.Places with history.When I am back in Nepal, I will definately book another tour or a trek at Passages Nepal
